42nd Street Bagel Cafe

225 N Yale Ave, Claremont, CA 91711

I remember 42nd Street Bagel Cafe fondly actually. My mom and dad would take me there on weekends (separately #divorced). I loved it because one of my favorite movies was Annie and they had a mural of her along the wall. My dad is a huge musical theater nerd who got me into Phantom of the Opera and I always loved seeing the mural of the mask that they also had painted on the wall. This was the old location in Upland and I always got a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese... and no that order has not changed in the past 25 years... I'm a creature of habit. Those fond memories have overlapped in my adult years as I am an even bigger musical theater nerd and I still love a good bagel.

And being born on Halloween I have to knight myself and the official reviewer on all things spooky so imagine my surprise when this bagel shop was advertising a Ghost Latte!

The Ghost Latte

Spoilers: I am going around reviewing all of the pumpkin spice lattes in the area so you know the best ones.

I originally wanted to go to this other shop to start my review process but seeing as it was 9:50 and my volunteer job starts at 10 the long line to that place wasn't going to work for me. However, I still needed coffee. So I walked down the street and slipped into the bagel shop, I knew I could get some coffee there .

And the coffee I got was one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

Actual Ghost Latte!

A pumpkin spiced latte with oat milk and marshmallow fluff on the edges.

Cute little faces have been drawn on your cup to make this an Instagram-able drink for the fall!

The coffee itself was good and the fact that it actually came with ghosts made my day (...I kind of sent these photos to everyone I knew).

Go and get yours today!
