About Me:
Bri Kelly

I have never been good at filling out any social media bio, dating bio, you name it. I cower at the idea of standing up and naming a “fun fact!” about myself. I am horrible at talking about myself, like, what do you want to know about me? WHY do you want to know about me? So this “about me” post I’ve been dreading.

THANKFULLY, I do have a few points I have to make for this post. First of all, who am I? Oh damn, I’m just rambling and I haven’t even introduced myself, my bad. I’m Bri (short for Briana). I am 30 years old, coffee obsessed, and disabled. This brings me to my next point:

What even is this blog about? Well it has all things to do with coffee, accessibility, and anything that overlaps the two. So let’s break it down.

The coffee: I was born and raised in the Inland Empire (the IE if you know). Starbucks was THE place to get a cup of coffee but I realized, on my coffee journey, that Starbucks coffee is burnt and bad. (Look don’t get me wrong I will still go in a rush or with a giftcard. I’m an enthusiast not a snob.) So I went on a journey to find a better shop, a local shop; one that didn’t break the bank, but also one that I could comfortably fit my wheelchair through.

The accessibility: This brings me to the hook of this blog. What is stopping you from skipping my blog completely and finding the cooler gen alpha teen that knows all about bean roasting? (Honestly, fair, please forward them to me.) Well! I go to every shop with the intention of also checking on each shops *accessibility*. I have a condition called Femoral Hypoplasia (at least that's what they diagnosed me with in 1995 so… who knows if it changed in the last 30 years). BASICALLY I have really short legs, a big ass, can barely walk, and rely on an electric wheelchair to get around. I am FORCED to rely on places with good accessibility, and lately I’ve been working on really being an advocate for it.

The Blog: All of this being said; I want to find the best places in the IE that have good coffee, and are comfortable for people with disabilities. (And rating them based on certain criteria).

So if that sounds like something you’re looking for, interested in, or you just like my all around vibe, I encourage you to follow along! I look forward to drinking a lot of coffee, comfortably.

Over-caffeinated and ready to roll 🤎 Bri
